Rather than using the Emergency Department or Urgent Care Centers for non-life threatening issues, call us first as there are many conditions that can be treated in our office.  Our doctors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to manage your urgent issues.  If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.

Meet Our Providers

Kelly Dzialo MD

Dr. Kelly Dzialo received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Bucknell University and her doctor of medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2007.  After completing her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, she worked in private practice in South Jersey and Philadelphia before joining Advocare Merchantville Pediatrics.

Bruce Gooberman MD

Dr. Bruce Gooberman received his medical degree at the University of Juarez in Mexico and completed his residency in pediatrics at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. During the years at Cooper he developed a strong interest in primary care and was able to start a solo practice in nearby Merchantville, NJ. His love of caring for children and being involved with families allowed his practice to grow with the addition of other caring physicians over the past 30 years. He has four grown children and has greatly enjoyed the many activities of their lives.

Leonard Kaplan MD

Dr. Leonard Kaplan is a board certified pediatrician. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center in Camden. In 1980, he received his bachelor’s degree in biology from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Kaplan has been practicing pediatrics with Advocare Merchantville Pediatrics for over 30 years. He has been recognized by South Jersey Magazine as a “Top-Doc” for 2014-2018. Dr. Kaplan is married and has two daughters. He enjoys spending time with family and following The Pennsylvania State University sports teams.

Anthony Marchese DO

Dr. Marchese is a board certified pediatrician. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his pediatric residency at A.I. DuPont Hospital for children/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2005. He received his bachelors degree from Georgetown University and a master’s in public health from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Marchese is married and has four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Esther Harris MD

Dr. Esther Harris is a board certified pediatrician. She earned her medical degree in 1992 from The College of Pennsylvania/Drexel College of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at Thomas Jefferson University. In 1988, she received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Brandeis University. Dr. Harris has been practicing pediatrics with Merchantville Pediatrics for over 20 years. She is married and has three children. She enjoys theater, reading and spending time with her family.
